Speech recognition has improved a lot over the years. I can make phone calls from and change the radio station in my car by voice command. The Google Chrome browser can now do voice-activated Google searches by adding an extension available from the Chrome web store.In my column, Speech Recognition – It Really, Really Works, I write about how I use Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium 12 in my work. The improvement that got me to be able to use it much more effectively was my Blue Snowball Microphone, furnished to me by the Legal Talk Network for recording my podcasts.
