Commissioned by gallery owner Caterina Tognon, the houses are portraits of her and her husband, with the bathrooms representing her two children. Gaetano Pesce worked with architect Gabriele Pimpini and Cosimo Cardone, to make a contemporary piece of Italian architecture that suits its historical context.
